I'm looking for info on the differences btwn specific brands of indoor tanning accelerator/maximizing lotions; such as, what the ingredients are, what a specific ingredient does, & how it works.

I've used Aveda products for about 15 years and have worked for the company for about 4 years, so my most obvious concern with skin care is the use of synthetic/non-plant based ingredients.

That being said, I've pretty much submitted to the fact that there's probably? no way to make an accelerator without some synthetic ingredients. At the same time, however, I can't seem to find more information than I already know about the specific ingredients in tanning accelerators.

EVERY single person I've talked to in EVERY single tanning salon hasn't been helpful in answering my questions, which are, I'll admit, a bit in-depth;-) I can read the product labels myself and most of the time, any other info I find is biased and/or advertising for a specific brand.
